- Shortlist announced for the 2017 DANI Awards -
Digital specialists from across Northern Ireland, Dublin, London and Amsterdam gathered in Belfast recently to deliberate and debate the entries for this years’ DANI Awards, celebrating the pioneering digital industry in Northern Ireland.
The awards now, in their seventh year, will take place on Friday 28th April in Whitla Hall at Queen’s University where the winners of the 20 categories will be announced by local comedienne Teresa Livingstone.
Naomh McElhatton, creator of the DANI Awards said, "We’ve had a record number of entries this year and the standard was exceptional from the wide ranging and diverse digital sector. The judges had a tough time pulling together the shortlisted contenders.
"As well as attracting more entries than ever before, the award entries have shown the digital economy in Northern Ireland is in a very healthy state with many companies winning business across the UK, Europe, USA and the Middle East. There is a wealth and depth of talent across the sector clearly evident in the variety of work and campaigns submitted this year”.
