Chris Love has been part of Mencap’s Polo in the City event from the very beginning. Chris showed clarity of vision and good judgement in creating a polo brand - representing style, elegance, sophistication and luxury. He worked with supporters and sponsors to bring value in the form of contra deals which in themselves worked seamlessly creating a network of value which formed the infrastructure for the whole Polo in the City event. Chris came up with the idea of shooting our publicity at well-known locations including City Hall and Stormont’s Parliament Buildings. This challenged Mencap to view things in a new way - we had previously only considered these as lobbying opportunities. Chris’ PR has taken Polo in the City to the level of an established brand following only two events. This year we have guests asking when they can buy tickets and sponsors approaching us to ask about involvement, demonstrating the value of the brand externally. This has allowed Mencap to open up conversations with organisations previously inaccessible to us. We are completely in Chris’ debt for this.
Chris has been working on campaigns for Coca-Cola for the last 5 years, bringing big brands to life. Chris works tirelessly and ensures that the client is his priority. He brings new and quirky ideas and is consistently professional in what he does.
Chris was both charming and friendly and could not do enough for us during our stay in Belfast. Everyone in Belfast was so hospitable and left us with such a huge impression that we now know there is a lot more to Irish hospitality than just Guinness!
